Major Balance Changes

• Massive rebalance: almost every Maiden, enemy, skill, and item has been adjusted.

• Reflect Magic chance reduced on all enemies.

• Reflective Ward now reduces reflected magic damage by 70% by default for most Maidens.

• Power indicators added for all skills, showing their strength.

• Ranger/Archer Maidens now have access to an "Ammo" slot in the Equipment tab (e.g., bows use arrows, crossbows use bolts, flintlock guns use iron balls).

• Tank class and Maidens with shields now have a "Block" mechanic. A successful block nullifies the attack (armor still takes damage). Block chance is reset to 0% until the "Guard" skill is used again.

Systems and UI Improvements

• New detailed Maiden window with age, weight, size, and personal story, viewable from your Home.

• Most Maidens now have personal descriptions.

• Completely reworked World Map mode with new zones, visuals, and sounds.

• New skill and stat icons.

• New status indicators: you now see all status effects on your Maiden during her turn. Clicking the icon explains its effect.

• Fixed status icons not displaying correctly for allies and enemies.

• Damage indicators and colored feedback now shown when Maidens are hit.

• Battle log can now be hidden (this also speeds up battles).

• You can now view enemy Armor and MP stats during battle.

Quality of Life Improvements

• Items are now sorted by relevance.

• Mouse hover no longer targets enemies.

• New achievement list available at Home.

• Many new sound effects for Maidens.

• New visuals and pixel fixes for many Maidens.

• Many bug fixes, including:

  • Treasure rewards now grant the correct amount of gold.

Character Progression

• Maiden trainers now allow you to boost basic stats using skill points.

• Maidens earn 5 skill points per level.

• Different trainers are found around the world, each offering different boosts.
